LOOKING FORWARD

If your honest with yourself you will find that we spend a considerable amount of time looking back. At our childhood, our past relationships and jobs, hurtful words spoken and given to others. An old man told me something years ago that I will never forget. "Don't look back unless your going there." None of us can go back,  but there is something I want you to consider. Starting today, until we teach ourselves to look forward, lets begin to live in a way to make this day one that has no regrets. Tell those you love words of affirmations and nurture and give to those who need it. Don't hold back. Stop and smell the roses and practice the "Attitude of Gratitude" daily. Then one day when you find yourself looking back you can nurture that too! A smile will arrive to your face just thinking of a memory of a loved one and special times. When you have that to fall back on it will be impossible to feel down and negative because it is simply not there. Here is the key....... Start now living your life filled with good and create your yesterdays today!

A lesson in Gratitude

Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.

I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

The Attitude of Gratitude!

Sometimes we all wonder why we struggle thru life and we seem to know instinctively that something is missing. I wonder if you have thought of gratitude! So many things we take for granted and get frustrated at are the things we should be grateful for. As you ponder the following words, ask yourself if your frustrated or grateful. Your Job? Your Mate? Your Children? Your Faith? Your Friends? Your Pets? Your Health? More than likely you can feel both right? Here is a challenge. First ponder the frustration side of all these. Really feel it Ok? Go there completely. Now make a note of how you feel, your outlook on life, your energy, your attitude, your patience. Now take a deep breath, close your eyes, relax, and think over each area of your life but this time focus on the good and what each brings to your life. Really feel that feeling of thankfulness of them being in your life and how grateful you are to know them and love them. Name every good quality that comes to mind. Now make a note of how you feel, your outlook on life, your energy, your attitude, your patience. Here is the question. Of the two, how do you want to live your life?  Today I choose the Attitude of Gratitude. How about you?
